Lifecycle of A User

With the Enterprise User Management system and the Corporate Central SaaS Portal, the entire life cycle of a user is automated and integrated with any number of applications and their associated permissions.  The users benefit from the quick provision service so they can begin producing almost immediately.  IT managers benefit by lowering the operational expenses required to provide the service.

The lifecycle of a user begins when the system automatically creates the user account and moves on to provisioning the user to different backend systems, including giving the user the corresponding access rights based on the user’s profile. The user and access management lifecycle ends when a user no longer holds any active roles with the company and thus all of the user’s accounts must be locked or de-provisioned.

For example when a new employee is hired, a new user account is automatically generated based on the employee’s profile (i.e. Job Title, Job Grade, Division, Department etc.), and the user receives a ‘Welcome Aboard’ message in their email or in a special envelope, which contains a link to the Corporate Central SaaS Portal as well as their user logon and password. New user accounts may also result from other contact roles such as a new partner, investor, prospect, customer etc.

The first time the new user logs on to Corporate Central SaaS Portal, their home page is automatically configured with the applications that they have permissions to access, based on their user profile. The new user can now further customize their Corporate Central SaaS Portal home page.

As the user changes roles (i.e. is promoted, retires etc.) their permissions are continuously updated and the Corporate Central SaaS Portal continuously makes the appropriate applications available to the user, based upon their profile.

The above scenario describes The Enterprise User Management system and the Corporate Central SaaS Portal working together. The systems can also be implemented separately.
