Personalized single point of access to the corporate web
The Lifecycle of a User
With the Corporate Central SaaS Portal and Enterprise User Management systems, the entire life cycle of a user is automated and integrated with any number of applications and their associated permissions.
The lifecycle of a user begins when the system automatically creates the user account and moves on to provisioning the user to different backend systems, including giving the user the corresponding access rights based on their profile. The user and access management lifecycle ends when a user no longer holds any active roles with the company and thus all of the user’s accounts must be locked or de-provisioned.
As an example: when a new employee is hired, a new user account is automatically generated based on the employees profile i.e. Job Title, Job Grade, Division, Department etc., and the user receives a ‘Welcome Aboard’ message in their email or in a special envelope, which contains a link to the Corporate Central SaaS Portal as well as their user logon and password. New user accounts may also result from many other roles of contacts such as a new partner, investor, prospect, customer etc.
Once the new user logs on, their Corporate Central SaaS Portal home page is automatically configured with the applications that they have permissions to access, based on their user profile. The new user can now further customize their Corporate Central SaaS Portal home page. As the user changes roles (i.e. is promoted or retires etc.) their permissions are continuously updated and the Corporate Central SaaS Portal continuously makes the appropriate applications available to the logged on user, based on the user’s profile.
